Hmm, sometimes EA releases a patch but does not follow up with a CAW to back it up. Check for the latest version, but if that is not available, then you may sidestep using this method: Go to the Program Files folder (with (x86) if using 64-bit system) and find Electronic Arts. You should be able to find the folder that contains Create-A-World. From there, open the Default.ini file (.ini might be missing by default)
From there, scroll to the bottom and you may find something like this
[Version] languages=en-us,fr-fr,es-es,es-mx,de-de,it-it,nl-nl,sv-se,da-dk,no-no,fi-fi,pl-pl,pt-pt,hu-hu,cs-cz,pt-br,el-gr,ru-ru,ko-kr,zh-hk,ja-jp GameVersion = 1.13.3.013037 CompatVersion = 13 WorldBuilderCompatibilityVersion = 10
Copy whatever it is in your Default file, and then go to the Sims 3 MAIN folder (not the expansion pack) and find the Default.ini there. the Important part is the WorldBuilderCompatibilityVersion: if they are not the same, replace the whole version segment with the segment you have copied.
Hope that helps. MILK FOR THE UNYUUFEX, FLAT CHEST FOR THE CUTENESS THRONE, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL PROBES (user talk:Mathetesalexandrou) 04:05, March 13, 2012 (UTC)
